Man Accused of Sexually Abusing 3-year-old Girl

GREAT MILLS, Md. - Investigators have charged a 25-year-old Great Mills man with child sexual abuse and fourth degree sex offense. Police say Jason Edward Midkiff sexually assaulted a 3-year-old female relative who was in his care at the time of the assault. The alleged incident took place on October 24 and Midkiff was arrested on Nov. 2. Midkiff is being held at the St. Mary's County Detention Center pending a court appearance.
